Yes, we have conventions with different structures and we can offer students different possibilities for lodging: Shared apartments: students will share an apartment with other students. In this case, kitchen and bathroom facilities are shared. The apartments are furnished and the kitchens are supplied with all essential kitchen utilities. On their arrival, students will find the apartments already cleaned, but during the stay, they and their flatmates are responsible for the cleaning of their own bedrooms and of shared rooms Normally there is no telephone in the apartment. Supermarkets are closed on Sundays, so students should bring some food with them, or be prepared to eat out on Sunday.

Electricity, gas, water, local costs and taxes are included in the price. Italy uses a 220 Volts/AC system. Plugs may differ from those in your home country and you may need an adapter.

Private apartments: this kind of accommodation is more comfortable than shared apartments and for this reason more expensive. They are available for one or more people. Students must reserve private apartments well in advance and the prices may depend on the lodging's position and season. Prices are available on request.

Hotels: all the hotels we work with are close to the Institute and normally their basic offer is “Bed & Breakfast”. The One star Hotel has rooms without private showers or bathrooms. The Three star Hotel has rooms with their own shower or bathroom. Prices are available on request and according to the categories of hotels and the season.

Hostel: students will share a room with tourists and students. Bathroom is generally situated outside the room.

All these structures are in the city center and students can easily reach the school by foot or by bicycle. When students arrive in Ferrara, we recommend them to take a taxi to their accommodation. At Ferrara's train station, taxis are always in front of the train station. Students are also free to organize accommodation themselves. In this case, they must tell the Institute that they don't need help for lodging.
